Finance Coordinator (Part-Time)

Position: Finance Coordinator

Location: Louisville, KY

Status: Part-Time

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Description:  Contributes to the completion of the firm’s internal financials and internal accounting functions

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the firm’s accounting functions
  • Assists in the annual audit process
  • Assists in the annual budget process
  • Assists in the IBG level income statement
  • Assists with the preparation of the Revenue Summary (Monthly)
  • Prepares and reviews client fees
  • Prepares and reviews business management financial reporting / executive reporting
  • Prepares commission payments
  • Completes special projects as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

  • Fundamental knowledge of the asset management industry
  • Fundamental knowledge of RRAM IBGs, departments, and functions
  • Fundamental knowledge of procedures and systems such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft managing files and records, and note-taking
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Accounting & Finance Principles
  • Fundamental knowledge of Intacct, APX & Advent Revenue Center
  • Ability to listen and follow instruction
  • Working quantitative ability
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize time and tasks with manager input
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Working organizational skills
  • Fundamental written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with supervision
  • Working interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required
  • Three years of relevant industry experience preferred
