Position: Client Services Specialist*

*Depending upon the credentials and experience of candidates who apply for this role, we will either hire an individual who is qualified as a coordinator (more entry level) or a specialist. A specialist has additional years of experience and would be eligible for a higher starting base salary.

Reports To: Chief Business Development Officer

Job Description:  Supports the firm’s Business Development function through task completion associated with client service (communicates directly with clients), reporting, data maintenance, leading special projects, and supporting the efforts of the firm’s Solutions Research Group (SRG)

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Service

  • Responsible for smaller client accounts
  • Coordination of regular client deliverables, questionnaires, and commentary
  • Coordination of client requests
  • Management of the new client on boarding process

Responsible for maintaining Business Development reporting

  • Creation, delivery, and improvement of standard reports
  • Creation, delivery, and improvement of Executive Summary reports

Responsible for oversight of all department data

  • Ensure all client data in Satuit is current and accurate
  • Ensure effective coordination of Satuit utilization and maintenance
  • Audit missing meeting notes

Coordination on special projects

  • Coordination of client related events and the Holiday/Spring Touch

Workflow Oversight

  • Oversight of all administrative workflow within the department
  • Contribute to management and development of Client Service Coordinator(s)
  • Support effective communication between Business Development and other IBGs/FSGs

Support the Solutions Research Group

  • Support and coordinate SRG meetings and materials
  • Create and maintain documentation for new products
  • Use eVestment for peer analysis
  • Maintain SRG master documents and binders
  • Update SRG portion of Executive Summary

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the asset management industry
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other software and systems specific to the department
  • Strong understanding of, and commitment to, firm culture

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred
